Soft enamel (also known as 'embossed') pins are the very similar and more economical versions of hard enamel cloisonné pins. Soft enamel pins are a perfect choice for team trading pins, especially if you have a less complex design. More complex designs, photos, designs with gradients should consider Photo Screen pins.

These pins are die-struck and then color is applied with a small brush. The color sits lower than the raised metal lines giving the pins an embossed look and feel. These pins weigh a little more than photo screen pins.
