Custom Awareness Pins

Custom awareness pins help a group put a cause on a jacket, lanyard, or fundraising table.  Metro Pins makes awareness pins for illness campaigns, mental health programs, survivor groups, and community support events.  The design can be a ribbon, a date, a slogan, a mascot, or a logo that people already know.

Clubs, hospitals, schools, and nonprofits use custom awareness pins for walks, months of recognition, memorial events, and year-round membership.  Cancer ribbons are a common request.  So are Crohn's disease, heart health, autism, suicide prevention, and mental health designs.  If the cause has a color or symbol, we can build the pin around it.

What type of custom awareness pins will you need?

Soft enamel pins are the usual choice when the ribbon or lettering needs raised metal lines.  Hard enamel pins give a smooth, polished face for recognition pieces.  Die struck UV print and photoscreen pins work when the art has a photograph, a gradient, or many colors.  If the event date is close, photoscreen is usually the faster process.

What pin size will you need?  Most custom awareness pins land between 1.00" and 1.75".  A simple ribbon can stay smaller.  A design with a slogan, date, or dangler needs more room.  Size is measured by the greater of width or height.

Groups order custom awareness pins for fundraising walks, hospital staff, survivor reunions, school clubs, and month-long campaigns.  A pin can carry the official ribbon color, the group name, and a short line of text.  Some orders are a few dozen pins for a local meeting.  Others are several hundred for an event weekend.  There is no strict minimum, and a sample is available on most styles.
