What custom patch backing do you offer?

Sew on (no backing), PVC plastic backing, iron on / heat seal, hook and loop, peel and stick, and button loop.

What are custom iron on patches?

Custom iron on patches use a heat-seal backing. Press with an iron or heat press onto cotton or poly-cotton. Do not iron onto nylon, leather, or waterproof fabric. Iron on adds $0.10 per patch.

When should I choose sew on backing?

Use sew on or PVC backing for uniforms, bags, and anything that gets washed hard. Both are included at no extra cost. Sew on is the most durable attach method.

What is hook and loop backing?

Hook and loop (Velcro style) lets the patch come off and go back on. Order hook only if the gear already has loop, or hook and loop as a pair. Adds $0.50 per patch up to 5".

Is peel and stick backing permanent?

No. Peel and stick is for short-term use. It is not a wash backing. Adds $0.20 per patch.

Merrow edge or hot cut edge?

Merrow is the wrapped border for simple shapes and is included. Hot cut is for complex or die-cut shapes and adds $0.10 per patch.
