Custom trading pins (either photo screen pins or heavy photoscreen pins) are selected by half of the teams that purchase custom trading pins from us. Soft enamel pins are selected by the other half of the teams for their customized trading pins. These three types of trading pins account for over 99% of custom team trading pins.

What kind of custom pin do you need? Photo screen pins are ideal pins for complex logos, photos and designs that incorporate gradients (color fading). Soft enamel pins are a great choice for team trading pins, especially if you have a less complex design and want to feel the design on the pin surface. What size to get? The average team trading pin size is 1.75". 90% of teams pick either 1.50", 1.75" or 2.00" pins. 9% get larger pins and less than 1% get smaller (we WILL try to talk you out of a small size).

How many do I need? The average order quantity is 500 pins. That's also where our pricing rocks! Plan for one pin per kid per team. 12 players on your team and 40 teams in the tournament means 480 pins.

What are custom trading pins?

Custom trading pins are team pins made to your logo and colors for tournaments and World Series weeks. Players swap them with other teams. Almost every order we fill is soft enamel, photoscreen, or heavy photoscreen.

Which style should we order?

Soft enamel if you want raised metal and a heavier feel. Photoscreen if the art has photos, gradients, or many colors. Heavy photoscreen if you want that printed look on a thicker pin.

How many custom trading pins do we need?

One pin per player per team in the field. Twelve players in a 40-team event is about 480 pins. Most orders land near 500, which is also where the price charts drop.
