What Size Should a Lacrosse Trading Pin Be?The average team trading pin is approximately 1.75 inches. Most lacrosse teams select a 1.50-inch, 1.75-inch or 2.00-inch pin. Designs with numerous player numbers, long team names, detailed mascots or add-ons may need more space to remain readable and attractive. We will recommend a practical size after reviewing your artwork. A pin that is too small can make names, numbers and fine details difficult to read and may reduce its appeal during tournament trading. How Many Lacrosse Pins Does Your Team Need?An order of about 300 pins is not uncommon for lacrosse teams, although the right quantity depends on tournament size and the number of players who will trade. A useful starting point is one pin per player for each opposing team. For example, a team with 10 players attending a 30-team tournament may need approximately 300 pins.
