Ski Resort Pins

and Custom Skiing Pins

Ski resort pins Ski resorts make collectible skiing pins for their skiers.  Skiers show off custom ski pins on hats and jackets, on the mountain and back home.  A large selection of ski resort pins helps promote the mountain.

What kind of ski pin should you order?  Without exception, soft enamel and hard enamel pins are the best choice for outdoor use.  Soft enamel has texture you can feel.  Hard enamel is a smooth finish.  Skiing is tough on pins, so stay with one of those two processes for custom skiing pins.

What size pin should you order?  Most skiing pins are small.  The average custom ski pin is 1.25".  We suggest nothing larger than about 1.75".  Smaller usually wears better on a hat or jacket.

How many ski resort pins should we order?  Resorts usually stock a few designs at a time: mountain logo, trail mark, anniversary, or season pin.  Order enough for the shop and staff, plus extras for a big weekend.  Volume pricing is better at higher quantities.

Ski Resort Pin Questions

What are ski resort pins?

Ski resort pins are collectible metal pins sold or given out at the mountain. Skiers put custom ski pins on hats and jackets. Resorts use them as souvenirs, staff marks, and season keepsakes.

Why soft enamel or hard enamel for custom skiing pins?

Both hold up outdoors better than printed pins. Soft enamel has raised metal. Hard enamel is polished smooth. Skiing is hard on gear, so those two processes are the usual call.

What size should custom ski pins be?

Most skiing pins are about 1.25". Stay under 1.75" for a hat or jacket.

Can you make more than one design for a resort?

Yes. Common sets are a mountain logo, a trail or peak mark, and a season or anniversary pin.

Do ski clubs order the same pins?

Yes. Ski clubs and associations use the same soft enamel and hard enamel processes for club marks and trip pins.

How long does production take?

Standard production and shipping is typically within 30 calendar days. Rush production with 15-calendar-day delivery is available for an additional charge. Order before the season if you can.

How do we start?
